Role overview
Employment type: Full-time
Pay: Starting rate of $12 hourly, with performance-based commission and the potential to earn up to $32 hourly.
About the role
Pick, pack, and kit products to prepare customer orders for shipment. The position includes printing labels, inspecting products, recording order information, and using warehouse equipment to support shipping and receiving needs.
Primary responsibilities
- Pick the correct products and quantities for shipment.
- Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
- Operate a forklift or order picker if required for order picking.
- Pack orders for parcel, less-than-truckload, and truckload shipments.
- Record product, packaging, and order information on designated forms and records.
- Print and attach shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets, following applicable DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations.
- Report missing items and quality discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Check outbound shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Inspect containers, materials, and products against packing specifications and document quality checks according to standard operating procedures.
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts as needed.
- Keep work areas clean and organized and maintain facility readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customer inspections.
- Report incidents, perform housekeeping duties as needed, and complete other assigned tasks.

Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Physical requirements and travel
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including stooping, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- No travel is expected.
