Position summary
Support warehouse operations for feature film and episodic television productions. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will prepare incoming and outgoing equipment orders, maintain rental equipment, and coordinate with production representatives to meet crew needs.
Your responsibilities
- Check that rental equipment is ready for use and identify items requiring maintenance or outside repair.
- Pull and prepare equipment orders accurately for production crews.
- Monitor high-demand equipment and anticipate shortages.
- Keep track of production needs and orders, coordinating the flow of incoming and outgoing equipment.
- Maintain rental inventory in working condition to meet production demands.
- Keep the warehouse and shop clean, organized, and safe.
- Pick up and deliver equipment.
- Maintain close working relationships with production representatives to assess needs and make production-related decisions.
Required experience
- At least 2 years of experience in the film or television industry.
- At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
Preferred qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience managing the timing of production schedules.
- Experience with and knowledge of set lighting and grip equipment.
- Previous on-set production or equipment rental house experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of an inventory tracking system.
- Ability to build strong relationships, support a positive work environment, and help solve problems.
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift heavy equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
