Role overview
The Recruiting and HR Coordinator supports a growing hiring pipeline, coordinating candidates from sourcing and early screening through interviews, offers, and onboarding. Recruiting is the primary focus, with secondary support for core HR operations. The role partners with the Senior Corporate Recruiter and HR leadership and uses Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and HRIS tools to maintain accurate records and keep hiring moving.
Recruiting and HR Operations
- Support full-cycle recruiting for open requisitions, from intake to offer, in partnership with the Senior Corporate Recruiter.
- Source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, and other sourcing tools; conduct initial outreach and assist with early screening calls to confirm basic qualifications.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics to provide a timely, organized candidate experience.
- Keep candidate records and pipeline stages accurate in the ATS, help draft and post requisitions, and track and report recruiting metrics.
- Assist the Senior Corporate Recruiter and HR leadership with preparing and extending offers.
- Coordinate onboarding tasks, including background checks, offer letters, and first-day arrangements; support recurring New Hire Orientation sessions.
- Maintain employee records in the HRIS and provide backup support for offboarding.
- Track compliance activities, including completion of state-mandated training across jurisdictions.
- Work with department leaders on additional HR needs as they arise.
Required Background
- 1–2+ years of experience in Human Resources or related administrative work.
- Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency with G-Suite products.
- Familiarity with compliance and/or benefits administration.
- Knowledge of California wage and labor laws.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an approachable, responsive, solutions-oriented manner.
Preferred:
- Experience with Rippling.
Performance Milestones
- Within the first 90 days, work independently in Greenhouse, Rippling, and LinkedIn Recruiter; attend at least three Operations shadow sessions; average at least 10 screening calls per week; and support at least one complete recruitment cycle.
- Within the first 180 days, conduct an average of at least 10–15 Operations screenings per week and independently coordinate full recruitment cycles for three to five open requisitions at a time.
- During the first year, independently run full recruitment cycles for five or more domestic and international requisitions, support coordination across an average of eight to 12 concurrent openings, schedule interviews within 24–48 hours of receiving availability, maintain accurate weekly recruitment-tracker entries, and provide smooth onboarding.
- For the following year, the posting specifies independent full-cycle coordination for one requisition at a time and sourcing an average of at least five qualified candidates per week into active pipelines.
Work and Pay Details
The published location is Remote, US. The pay scale is $23.00–$27.00 per hour. The approximate 2,080-hour annual equivalent is $47,840–$56,160; this is a calculated comparison, not a guarantee of annual earnings.
