Location: Remote (United States)
Pay: $60,000 - $65,000/year

Position summary
Help ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of virtual reality applications, web platforms, and educational technology products. This role combines hands-on manual testing with opportunities to contribute to automation and improve testing processes.
You will collaborate with product managers, developers, clinical subject matter experts, and QA colleagues to validate features, investigate defects, and support successful releases.
Testing responsibilities
- Execute manual testing across web applications, platform features, and virtual reality experiences.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop test plans and test cases that validate business requirements and cover potential edge cases.
- Investigate and reproduce reported issues, documenting clear and actionable findings.
- Create bug reports with reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and supporting evidence.
- Validate fixes and confirm that issues are resolved before release.
- Participate in testing cycles, release readiness activities, and quality sign-offs.
- Contribute to test automation and improvements in testing efficiency.
- Work across teams to improve product quality and user experience.
- Maintain testing documentation, standards, and QA best practices.
Required experience and skills
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related role.
- Strong manual testing skills and an understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, and defect documentation.
- Ability to identify edge cases, risks, and unexpected user behaviors beyond documented requirements.
- Experience working within established QA processes and development workflows.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn new tools, technologies, and business domains quickly.
Helpful additional experience
- Exposure to automation tools, frameworks, or best practices, including AI-assisted approaches.
- Experience using AI tools for test creation, automation, or QA workflows.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Linear, or similar issue-tracking platforms.
- Experience testing web applications, SaaS platforms, or mobile applications.
- Familiarity with virtual reality devices such as Meta Quest or HTC Vive.
- Exposure to mobile device management platforms and device testing.
- Interest in healthcare technology, simulation, educational technology, or emerging technologies.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
