Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, some weekends may be required
Role overview
You’ll support dock and warehouse operations by staging, sorting, loading, unloading, scanning, and moving freight in a safety-focused warehouse environment.
What you’ll do
- Follow all safety requirements and safe work practices.
- Stage and sort products for loading.
- Load and unload trailers safely.
- Open and close dock doors.
- Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas.
- Stack cardboard boxes and pallets.
- Move materials within the warehouse.
- Scan freight and parts.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
What you’ll need
- No prior warehouse experience required, though warehouse experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Customer service, organization, flexibility, number skills, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance.
- Willingness to work the required schedule at the assigned location.
- Flexibility to work overtime preferred.
- Background check and drug screening required.
Physical requirements
- Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
- Frequent use of hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach.
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds.
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment required.
- Ability to understand instructions, guidelines, and safety information.
- Ability to communicate verbally and work in a constant state of alertness.
