Employment type: Full-time
Pay: $18.83 - $22.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with overtime as needed
Warehouse role overview
You’ll support day-to-day branch operations by picking orders, stocking inventory, preparing shipments, operating warehouse equipment, and helping keep storage and shipping areas organized and safe. The position also provides occasional support at the sales counter and with backup deliveries.
Picking and inventory work
- Pull and pick products according to order tickets.
- Restock shelves and return inventory to the correct storage locations.
- Maintain accurate bin locations and product labels.
- Assist sales staff with locating parts and inventory.
- Support receiving and put-away activities.
- Help maintain accurate and orderly warehouse stock.
Shipping and equipment duties
- Prepare customer orders for shipment by boxing and labeling products accurately.
- Operate a wire machine according to established procedures.
- Use a forklift to move pallets and other heavy materials.
- Complete required forklift certification training.
- Assist drivers with backup delivery driving when needed.
- Provide support at the sales counter as assigned.
Safety and warehouse upkeep
- Keep shipping areas, aisles, walkways, the pipe yard, and parking areas clean and free of hazards.
- Follow established warehouse and equipment safety procedures.
- Maintain an organized workspace that supports efficient order fulfillment.
Required skills and qualifications
- Previous receiving and inventory put-away experience.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to reach and stretch safely while handling warehouse materials.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug test.
