Role overview
Employment type: Full-time
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with occasional overtime
Delivery driver position
You’ll handle local deliveries while also supporting warehouse operations, customer interactions, and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle fleet. The role combines driving with hands-on physical work and offers opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over time.
Driving and delivery duties
- Complete assigned deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Meet with customers during scheduled deliveries.
- Operate company trucks in accordance with safety requirements.
- Assist with maintaining delivery vehicles and identifying basic mechanical issues.
- Support towing or battery replacement tasks after appropriate training.
Warehouse support
- Help fulfill and prepare customer orders in the warehouse.
- Load and unload products as needed.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks between delivery assignments.
- Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Driver qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license or higher.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous professional or commercial driving experience.
- Strong commitment to safe driving practices.
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in working with vehicles.
- Ability to safely operate trucks and perform physical delivery work.
- Willingness to learn towing and battery replacement procedures.
