Pay: $52,500 - $61,500/year in starting base salary
Schedule: Flexible hours. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Investment operations and customer support
As a Junior Invest Operations Associate, you will help customers move assets, update accounts, and resolve account access issues. Reporting to the Invest Operations Team Lead, you will review transaction requests and supporting documents, protect customer assets, and explain the next steps to customers.
Cases you will handle
- Resolve a high volume of customer emails and cases involving account updates, reviews, and transfers. Make outbound calls when needed.
- Process ACH disputes and handle requests received by mail or fax involving asset transfers, asset verification, and legal levies.
- Process 3210 letter requests and work with advisors on outgoing asset transfers and incoming rollovers.
- Help customers update funding sources and resolve complex account questions.
- Investigate account unlock requests with the Risk team. Verify documentation and apply established procedures to distinguish suspected fraud from legitimate activity flagged in error.
- Identify recurring delays with the team lead and other teams, and help prioritize improvements to internal tools and processes.
Skills and experience
- 0-2 years of experience in investment, banking, or financial operations.
- Attention to detail and the ability to process a large queue of cases accurately as priorities change.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain financial issues and build trust with customers.
- Sound judgment when reviewing data and documentation, identifying urgent cases, and escalating issues.
