Retail associate position
You’ll support customers while helping with cashier duties, merchandising, inventory replenishment, receiving, online order fulfillment, and general store upkeep. This role combines direct customer service with hands-on retail and warehouse responsibilities.
Customer service and sales
- Provide friendly and helpful service throughout the customer experience.
- Answer product questions and make recommendations based on customer needs.
- Explain available membership programs and mobile app features to customers.
- Suggest product substitutions or special-order options when appropriate.
- Support cashier and other front-of-store activities as assigned.
Merchandising and order fulfillment
- Stock and replenish merchandise throughout the store.
- Maintain product displays and merchandising standards.
- Pick and pack individual e-commerce orders for customer delivery.
- Verify that items selected and packed for orders are accurate.
- Assist with receiving and other inventory-related tasks.
- Keep store and warehouse areas clean and organized.
- Complete additional operational projects and assignments as directed by management.
Skills and qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Previous retail, e-commerce, or warehouse experience preferred.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Ability to listen carefully and communicate information accurately.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to follow established processes and help maintain efficient store operations.
- Ability to work toward performance expectations and operational goals.
