Role overview
This Brand Designer role owns brand design projects from creative brief through final delivery, creating polished visual work across web, digital marketing, campaigns, events, social media, presentations, product marketing, and internal communications. The position applies and extends an established visual identity while building reusable templates, design systems, and creative processes that improve consistency, scalability, and production efficiency.
The work requires strong visual design foundations, fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, and experience with digital and print production. The designer will work autonomously with minimal direction while partnering with Growth, Web, Product Marketing, Content, Developer Relations, marketers, writers, developers, and other designers to create cohesive customer experiences.
Core Responsibilities
- Own brand design projects from the initial creative brief through final delivery with limited guidance.
- Create high-quality visual assets for web, campaigns, events, social media, presentations, product marketing, and internal communications.
- Apply and thoughtfully extend the visual identity across new formats, channels, and customer touchpoints.
- Build reusable templates, design systems, and creative processes that strengthen consistency and improve production efficiency.
- Partner with Growth, Web, Product Marketing, Content, and Developer Relations to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
- Present design concepts and creative rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback thoughtfully into final work.
- Manage multiple design projects and priorities while consistently delivering polished, production-ready work.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations that improve the quality, scalability, effectiveness, organization, and execution of creative work.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Expertise
- 3+ years of professional experience in brand, marketing, or visual design.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design foundations, including color theory, accessibility, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Experience designing for digital marketing, websites, campaigns, and brand systems.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketers, writers, developers, and other designers.
Design Skills & Tools
- Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Strong understanding of production-ready design requirements across digital and print formats.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities with minimal oversight while maintaining a high standard for quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain design decisions and give and receive constructive design feedback.
- Ability to identify opportunities to refine creative processes, improve project organization, and make collaboration more effective through thoughtful recommendations.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn about the technical field of networking.
Preferred
- Experience designing for B2B SaaS or developer-focused products.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Motion design or animation experience.
- Illustration or icon design experience.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and web design constraints.
- Experience supporting experimentation, conversion optimization, or growth marketing initiatives.
- Experience working in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.
- Experience art-directing or mentoring junior designers.
Work & Pay Details
Location: United States
Workplace: Remote
Base Salary: $117,750–$153,000 USD per year.
Individual base salary offers may vary based on experience and skill set. Total compensation also includes equity. Variable commission applies to quota-based roles.
