Position summary
Work as a Warehouse Associate and Parts Runner supporting HVAC and plumbing operations. The role combines inventory handling, order preparation, warehouse upkeep, and driving company vehicles to deliver parts.
Core duties
- Safely drive company vehicles and deliver parts to job sites and customers accurately and on time.
- Receive, store, and organize warehouse inventory, track stock levels, and report discrepancies.
- Pick and pack orders, verify their accuracy, and prepare them for timely dispatch.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, conduct regular inspections, and report hazards.
- Communicate professionally with customers and teammates and address delivery questions or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory movements, and incidents during transit.
Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse, supply chain, or logistics environment.
- A current, valid driver's license in the state where you will work.
- Ability to work in various conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to undergo a standard background check.
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information with internal and external stakeholders.
Helpful experience
- Experience with service management software is helpful.
- Familiarity with HVAC or plumbing equipment is preferred but not required.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
Physical requirements
- Remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Frequently operate a computer and standard office equipment.
- Occasionally move items weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Work under centrally controlled fluorescent lighting.
